There are some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, whether you enjoy sailing, fishing, water-sports or just enjoy time out on the beach with a bucket and spade, there are some great beaches nearby

Those who enjoy bird watching will be spoilt for choice with Snettisham and Titchwell RSPB Reserves nearby. The Hawk and Owls Trust Reserve & Sculthorpe Moor is only a few hundred yards from the Riverside Lodge. Pensthorpe Nature Reserve Nr Fakenham and the spectacular Pink Foot Migration that occurs along the North Norfolk coast during the Autumn months is a spectacular sight to be seen when thousands of geese visit this area.

Wonderful walking along old roman route of Peddars Way or hire bikes to see the local countryside.
